Various problems with molding pellets:
1. Sawdust particles produce vertical cracks
In the production process of some customers, due to the type of dryer selected, the wood chips cannot be dried evenly, resulting in uneven moisture content of the raw wood chips. It is elastic and single open, resulting in vertical cracks.
2. The pellets are bent and there are many cracks on the surface
This phenomenon of sawdust pellet machine usually occurs when the pellets leave the ring die. In production, when the cutter position is adjusted far from the surface of the ring die and the blade edge is blunt, the pellets are easy to be cut by the cutter when they are extruded from the die hole. Broken or torn rather than cut, with some of the wood pellets bent to one side and many cracks on the other. During the process of entering the cooler for cooling or transportation, the particles tend to break from these cracks, resulting in the production of too much powder or too short particles.
3. The particle produces radiation cracks from the source point
The main reason for this situation is that the wood chips contain relatively large wood chips. Raw materials with similar fiber degrees will be squeezed and fused with each other during granulation. If there are larger fibers, the interaction between fibers will be affected. It is not as easy to soften as other finer raw materials, and during cooling, due to the different degree of softening, the difference in shrinkage is caused, resulting in radiation cracks.
