The main market body has formed an industrialized development pattern with reasonable layout and diversified utilization, and a complete straw collection, storage and processing network covering counties, townships and villages. The development of upstream and downstream industrial chains such as supporting facilities has explored sustainable, replicable and popularized technical paths, models and mechanisms for comprehensive utilization of straw.

By the end of 2021, the comprehensive utilization rate of crop straws in the county will reach 90.97%, and the utilization amount will reach 127,000 tons. The utilization of crop straws will show a diversified pattern. The county will further accelerate the pace of building beautiful villages with the development of green industries as the main body.

Yongdeng County promotes the comprehensive utilization of straw within the county, with an annual storage and processing capacity of 29,000 tons of crop straw, and an annual processing capacity of 20,000 tons of biomass pellet fuel.

Up to now, Yongdeng First Agricultural Mechanization Service Professional Cooperative has recycled 22,000 tons of crop straw, processed and sold 1,350 tons of pellet fuel, and obtained a net profit of 405,000 yuan after deducting production costs. The head of the cooperative said that the implementation of the biomass fuel project provides more than 20 jobs every day, allowing farmers to earn income by recycling straw or working in the cooperative. Through the centralized recycling of straw, the problem that the straw in the farmland of the masses cannot be used and cannot be handled has been solved, and the investment of the masses in the farmland has been reduced.

Guide villagers to clean and warm

Heating in the countryside in winter, one end leads the people to cool and warm, and the other leads the blue sky and white clouds. In combination with the rural revitalization strategy, Yongdeng County replaced the existing coal-fired stoves with straw briquette fuel and high-efficiency and low-emission biomass stoves to solve farmers’ daily cooking and heating energy problems, and screened the entire county for clean living environment and mass production. In villages with good enthusiasm, according to the decentralized heating mode of “biomass fuel + special stove”, they are equipped with biomass cooking and roasting stoves, so as to solve the problem of clean heating for farmers in winter and realize the diversified utilization of straw fuel.
